I’m Andy Wood, the proud owner of CaDo & Company. My journey started with a deep love for animals and a passion for finding stylish, high-quality products that bring joy to both pets and their owners. Before launching this boutique, I spent years in the corporate world of International Trade Compliance as a licensed customs broker, but my heart always led me back to my two biggest passions—animals and creating warm, inviting spaces.

At CaDo & Company, I’ve combined my love for pet-inspired décor, upscale accessories, and thoughtful gifts into a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. We're Andy and (other) Andy, and we own CaDo & Company.  We love finding new cat and dog-inspired items that we hope you'll love.  When we're not busy with the store, there is always something needing attention in our 100-year-old house in upstate Illinois that we share with our three dogs and two cats. 

For myself (Andy), dogs and cats have always been in my life throughout the many places I've lived in the US.  I simply cannot image life without furry critters running around the house.  Dogs in particular bring me a lot of happiness and there isn't anything better than "puppy smell"!  

As for (other) Andy, he grew up in northern Maine, with his cat, Tiger. A huge train enthusiast, he spends a lot of his spare time working on his model train layout or chatting with his "train buddies" about...what else?....trains!
